Hello lovelies,
Today i wanted to show you how I created this particular look, I did a poll on twitter and most of said that they prefer matte eye looks so i want to try out more in the future and thought I would start with this one.
I used the Revolution Reloaded Neutrals 2 palette I have shown you another look using this palette before and love using it so I thought I would use it again but show you a different sort of look.
I love this look and I am by no means a makeup artist or professional I just really enjoy getting creative and wearing different looks.
Primer
Before I started I applied a little bit of primer onto my lids, the primer I used was also makeup revolution. It is a light porcelain shade so creates a good starting point. I like using this primer as I find it helps my eyeshadow to stay on all day.
Base
As my base colour I used the lightest shade in the palette which is a creamy white colour. As most of the shades in this palette are quite pigmented I didn’t use much to cover my whole eyelid.
All over colour
For the main part of the look I used a peachy pink colour all over my lid. I used a flatter sort of brush so I was able to pack the colour on neatly.
Outer corners
For the outer part of my eyelid I used a slightly darker browny shade to darken up the look a bit and give it some depth. All of the matte shades in this pallet are really pigmented so only needed a small amount on my brush.
Inner corners
For the inner part of my eyelid before I applied any colour i went over it with a bit of concealer to really help the colour stick. I used the collection lasting perfection concealer in the lightest shade they have called ….. After I added the palest shade in the palette on top, I thought it would brighten up my eyes and complete the look.
Finishing touches
After I had finished with the eyeshadow I applied some mascara, this particular one is by Maybelline and is called lash sensational I am sure you have all heard of it. I went around the outside of my eyes with a wet wipe to sharpen up the lines and then put a little bit of powder on after cleaning up the lines.
I really hope you enjoyed reading, let me know in the comments what you think about this look!
Thanks for reading 🙂
