Hello lovelies,
How are you doing today? I hope you’ve had a fab weekend. Today I thought I would do something i haven’t done before on my blog, a lush haul!
Read on to find out what I purchased and my thoughts on them.
I really love Southampton for shopping as there is such a massive variety of places to go. The majority of shopping I did today was in the west queue shopping centre, last time I went to Southampton to shop was a few years ago and i never remembered there being a lush store there, so when I arrived and saw it I was very happy.
I have never actually done a lush haul on my blog before so this is a first! As the nearest lush shop is about an hour away from me I always have to make the most of it when I get the rare chance! Lush is one of my favourite shops, I know some people can’t stomach the smell, and iβll admit it is quite overpowering and you definitely smell it before you see it! I really enjoy looking round and getting to test out and smell all of the different products.
As it’s getting close to easter now Lush always bring out special holiday products, there were a few I hadn’t seen before such as cream egg and easter bunny sugar scrub. I really love that they bring out new and different products for holidays. I was a little bit disappointed that quite a few of these products where glittery, the reason why i find it a little but harder to shop for new products to try out is that I’m not a bit fan of the bath bombs or bubble bars that have glitter within them, i get that it appeals to some people, but having tried them out before i just don’t like getting out of the bath looking like a glitter monster! Instead I hunt for new products that are glitter free.
I was able to pick up a couple of things that a get almost every time I step into lush and I was also able to find a couple of new things that i hadn’t seen or tried before so I am really excited to give you all my opinions on them once i have tried them out. Let’s get on with the haul!
Creamy Candy Bubble Bar
The first item I found was the Think Pink bubble bar, for me this is a staple for my baths. I know some find the snow fairy scent overwhelming but i love it, to me it’s a really sweet sugary scent and I love the colour its turns the bath water to as its a bright pink! What I love about bubble bars is that you can get so many uses out of them, I break off a little pice each time I want to spice up my bath water and overall I think I can get around 6 or 7 baths out of this one bubble bar. With that being said i think it’s definitely worth the money at Β£3.50 As it has coco butter in it I find it helps to moisturise and soften my skin.

Butterball Bath Bomb
The next product I picked up is another one of my all time favourites, Butterball. This little bath bomb is just a classic from lush and I think pretty much all people will like the scent this one has, as its made with cocoa butter it smells incredible and leaves your skin feeling so smooth and moisturised. Every time I go into lush I have to pick one of these up, I think they are a great bath bomb and a very reasonable price at Β£2.95. I love the simplicity of this bath bomb when you go into lush you are bombarded with all of the different colours of the rainbow and more, so I think it’s really nice to have some products that aren’t as bold for people who are maybe new to lush or just prefer something a little less wild. I find the scent really relaxing and it helps me to sleep at night after having my bath. Again if I really wanted to save it I sometimes break this bath bomb in half so I can get two uses out of it as i canβt get to a lush store as easily as others.

Cocoa Sugar Scrub
This item was part of the easter range, which I thought I would have a give at least one product a go from. There were two different type of this product one was a white bunny which had more of a coconut vibe and this one which was more chocolatey. As i have a lot of products already and are coconut scented I thought I would go for the cocoa bunny, this one smelt heavenly. They texture of this is quite coarse as it contains granulated sugar so I imagine it is going to be lovely to exfoliate your skins with in the shower and it will make you smell amazing! This product was pretty reasonably price a Β£4.95 I think that I will be able to get quite a lot of uses out of this sugar scrub.

Gritty Politti Naked Cleansing Balm
The last thing I picked up from lush today was this lovely facial cleanser, I don’t use many products on my face as i do have rather sensitive skin but I thought this sounded really lovely and wanted to give it a try. I have used this product for the first time tonight, I love the way it feels on my skin when i was rubbing it in, it also has very tiny pieces of coconut shell within it which gently exfoliated my skin. I love the smell of this product and i only us very small amount as it just melted into my hands. It removed my makeup really well, it even removed my mascara without much trouble. The one thing I will say is currently my cheeks are very red, I am not sure if this is due to the cleanser or not as my skin is quite sensitive it may just be that it needs a while to settle down. I would love to write a full review on this product when i have tested it out properly. I think if this product works for me i will definitely buy it again as it was Β£4.95 so i think it is good value for what you get in my opinion.
