Hello lovelies,
How are you all doing today? I have been loving this mascara for a while now so I decided to write a review to tell you all about it.
I first tried this benefit mascara when I went away for the weekend. I had forgotten to pack a makeup bag! I thought I’d take a stroll down to boots and see what i could pick up. I found this lovely little gift set that included a miniature brow gel, primer and the roller lash mascara. Prior to this I had never purchased any products from benefit because to be honest i didn’t know if the product would be with the money.
The Packaging
Lets start of with the packaging, I received this full size version for christmas. This mascara came in a lovely box. I love the design of roller lash, my favourite colour is pink and i think the black works really well with it. The handle of the wand has a slight rubbery texture which makes it easier to undo and grip whilst using it. As you can see it also has a sort of lattice design to the handle, i think the design and the feel of this product is really good quality.
The Wand
At first I wasn’t sure about this style of wand because i don’t always get on well with plastic bristles but I wanted to give it a try. I ended up being pleasantly surprised, with the mascaras I have tried before that have had plastic bristles I found that it made my lashes clump together which I’m not really a fan of. Instead it made my lashes look really fluffy and separated them well. This wand has a small curve in it which helps to reach all of the lashes .
Colour
The colour I chose was black, I mostly like to wear black mascara as have quite light eyelashes so I find I need as dark a colour as I can get to really bring out my lashes. This mascara adds a lot of colour to the lashes and helps to accentuate them! I love how dark this mascara makes my lashes.
Overall Performance
To summarise I really love this mascara, as it has a curved wand it help to give your lashes that extra curl that I definitely need. It also helps to reach all of the little lashes in between to give the best effect and to give the lashes volume. I think the packaging is lovely and I think the colour scheme is great. After receiving this as a gift for Christmas when it runs out I definitely do think I’ll be repurchasing it even thought it is the most expensive mascara I have owned at £20 I do think it is worth the price tag.
Here are the before and after photos!
Let me know in the comments if you have tried this mascara and what your thoughts are!
Thanks for reading 🙂
